ACRYLIC LANDSCAPE PAINTING WORKSHOP
With Randy Hayashi
The focus of this workshop is to create a compelling landscape painting with acrylic paint and working from a photo(s). We will explore the importance of design and composition before painting and how to simplify what you see in your reference photo. This will involve sketching and trying different value studies with pencil and paper.
The goal is also to expand the participants understanding of acrylic painting and to encourage expressive use of color and to share an array of tips and techniques. Each day the workshop will include a short demo and mini-lessons through the day as well as individual instruction. www.hayashi.ca
